CyclonePlus Camera Series revised

Optronis has further developed the established high-speed machine vision cameras of the Cyclone series into the CyclonePlus series. Mechanical design improvements to the camera housing and lens mounts as well as enhancements on image processing have been incorporated. Both make it easier to integrate the CyclonePlus cameras into existing or new systems.

The length of the camera housing has been further reduced while retaining the flexible cooling concept. Image optimization in the camera simplifies subsequent image processing. The dark value has been made more stable and the flat field correction (FFC) has been significantly improved. The high data rate of image transmission via 4 CoaXPress 2.0 channels, each with 12.5 Gb/s, and the wide range of trigger options remain unchanged.

Cameras of CyclonePlus series offer these advantages:

• Wider range of lens mounts, even with very short flange focal length
• Simplified lens mount exchange
• Enhanced image optimization with more stable dark value and improved flat field correction (FFC)
• Additional triggering functions and readout modes

Like the Cyclone cameras, the CyclonePlus cameras are also available with a variety of different image sensors. Starting from 1 MPixel resolution with 3,500 fps up to 65 MPixel with 70 fps. Despite the improvements, the cameras can be offered at lower prices.
