WHEN IMAGE DATA BECOMES A BOTTLE NECK
High-resolution industrial image processing is becoming faster and faster. As both resolution and frame rate increase simultaneously, available data bandwidth becomes the decisive factor. Hurricane brings Optronis’ high-speed imaging into the 100 Gbit/s class: for demanding machine vision applications where conventional 50 Gbit/s architectures reach their limits.

Designed for High-Speed Machine Vision
The Hurricane-9 combines high resolution and extreme frame rates with a high-performance 100 Gbit/s CoaXPress-over-Fiber interface. This makes the high-speed camera ideal for demanding machine vision applications that require large amounts of image data to be transmitted and processed quickly and reliably. Flexible frame rates, integrated image correction, and extensive camera functions enable precise adaptation to industrial image processing systems.

With this combination of 9.4 MP, 1,236 fps at full resolution, and 100 Gbit/s CoaXPress-over-Fiber, Hurricane expands the Optronis portfolio into a new performance class. At the same time, features critical for industrial integration—such as ROI, triggering, and image correction—remain available directly within the camera. Thus, Hurricane combines high data rates with the functionality required for demanding high-speed machine vision systems.
