Camera control via tablet or smartphone
Optronis Camera-control via tablet and smartphone:
Not only does the TimeBench intuitive analysis software supplied with the camera make child’s play of the parameterization of the CR camera: it also allows sequences of shots to be analyzed precisely. The software was developed by Optronis and is a valuable tool in the analysis of image sequences.
Included in the scope of delivery of the CR series, intuitive TimeBench analysis software makes child’s play of the parameterization of the CR camera. What’s more, the software allows sequences of shots to be analyzed precisely. Once again, the emphasis for Optronis is on simplicity of application. While initially high-speed cameras could only be controlled from the computer to which they were connected, the release of TimeBench in 2012 consigned this to history. Using a web service, now other devices, such as smartphones and other computers, can be connected. Depending on the model, Optronis’ CR (CamRecord) series high-speed cameras are able to record up to 4 million pixels at a framerate of 500 frames per second. Here as well, standard Nikon lenses, for example, can be used with the cameras.
